Pranay Milan Sammelan is, a matrimonial alliance providing common ground for the hearing impaired. Over hundreds of hearing-impaired matrimonial prospects from all across India are attending the event along with their parents. We are providing an ideal platform for people suffering from Hearing Impairment for connecting with marriage partners by promoting transparency and disclosure.

The Sammelan enables these prospects to come together and interact with each other in a safe and supportive environment. AIFDW undertakes the responsibility of getting the brides and grooms assembled together and also that of short listing them. We believe that every person is entitled to find happiness through marriage. While we have been very successful at supporting this mission, we are aware about certain segments of society who have to work harder to find the right partner, case in point being people with impaired hearing. The response to this event has been overwhelming, and each year the turnout grows.”

AIFDW Founder Chairperson and President of DFDW Ms. Rajyalaxmi Rao, said, “This is a special swayamvar for people with impaired hearing, organized by DFDW since 1991 with the purpose of helping them find a partner. The main objective of the event is ‘Come, See, and Suit Yourself’ making each individual feel that they can take a call when it comes to their marriage just like any other normal human being. It feels great when we see couples happily married through this Sammelan. The matrimonial service extends to neighboring states and it gives immense pride to know that other local organizations are emulating this Sammelan. Other Than Matrimonial assistance to Deaf AIFDW also focus on the Skill Training of Deaf Women. It aims to make them self- reliant. AIFDW has 13 State Chapters working with the aim of rehabilitating deaf women all over the country.
